Media Center:
The Media Center at WES will provide skills and resources to help students become independent critical readers, thinkers and users of information. All students will be encouraged to become ethical users of information while developing an appreciation for literature and love of reading. Students: Throughout the school day (8:00-3:00) students from all grade levels are welcome to come to the media center to return and check out books. Students in all grades are allowed to check out up to 5 books, provided that they have no books out. The standard check-out period is two weeks; however, students may renew materials as often as needed. We do not assess fines for late books. However, we do ask that families pay for any lost or damaged materials. |
Parents:
Parents interested in volunteering at the media center should fill out the form below or email Ms. Scheuerlein ([email protected]). Please provide information regarding availability to schedule a brief training. Please be aware that volunteers are required to fill out the WCPSS registration form every school year. Thank you for considering volunteering at our media center. By donating time you can demonstrate a love of reading and learning. This is a powerful message to our young people. |
